Homeschooling

It's production week. Emilie dances 8 hours a week, and a year's worth of practices comes down to one night- Saturday night. Because of all of the snow- public school is going way into summer- including some Saturdays. Including the day of the performance. It's another reason I'm so glad that we homeschool and can modify our schedule around life.
Here's another photo of the same island. It's off the coast of South Carolina. Any ideas?

Dreams and Life

Some of us are content, and some driven. I fall in the driven category. So- I'm segmenting my blogs into 7 categories- one that represents a major facet of my life for each day of the week.

  • Sundays- Child of God
  • Mondays- Writer
  • Tuesdays- Photography/Painting
  • Wednesdays- Homeschooling
  • Thursdays- Vacation Rentals
  • Fridays- Land lording
  • Saturdays- Traveler

There are a lot of blogs- why follow this one? It's varied- each week you'll get a snippet of insight into many areas of one person's life. And if I do say so myself, it's an interesting life. Being a follower of God is an all-encompassing journey of the heart and soul, I'd love to share it with you. I've explored 36 islands and countries, own a vacation rental in Fiji, homeschool my beautiful, quirky, wise beyond her years 14 year old daughter, am a landlord, and work as a writer. For fun, I take photos and paint. Come along for the ride.
Picture Guess- Can you guess where this pictures was taken? It's of my daughter and her friend. I'll give you 2 hints. It's on the East Coast, on a private island. And one of my favorite places in the country.
